Trauma-Informed Psychodynamic Therapies

The Trauma-informed Psychodynamic Therapies Program is a year-long seminar conducted via Zoom consisting of weekly classes, reading, and a series of supervision groups. Our mission is to bridge psychodynamic thinking with techniques developed by the wider world of trauma studies.

Curriculum

We have an outstanding group of instructors who create spaces for participants to read and delve deeply into topics such as:

  • History of psychoanalytic thinking around trauma
  • Neurobiology of trauma
  • Intergenerational transfer of trauma
  • Racial and cultural trauma
  • Psychodynamic tools and techniques in trauma
  • Somatic therapies for trauma
  • Other therapies specifically developed for work in trauma
