CUIMC Office of Academic Affairs
The Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) Office of Academic Affairs supports faculty career development throughout the medical center, this office facilitates faculty recruitment, appointment, retention and promotion; and ensures that faculty are informed through medical center-wide dissemination of relevant information. Under the umbrella of Academic Affairs the Office of Faculty Professional Development sponsors a variety of workshops and courses to support professional development of CUIMC faculty. Topics of previous events include: leadership training, negotiation, presentation of the new academic title track system and grant writing. The schedule of events is available at their website.
