Rebecca Grossman, PhD
Overview
Dr. Rebecca Grossman is a licensed clinical psychologist and Instructor of Psychology (in Psychiatry) with the ABC Early Childhood Program (Anxiety and Behavioral Challenges). She specializes in behavioral treatment for young children and their caregivers. Dr. Grossman completed her BA in Psychology at Brandeis University. She received her PhD in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami, where her research focused on transdiagnostic treatment of anxiety and mood disorders. During this time, she certified as a trainer and therapist in the Unified Protocol for the Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents. She completed her predoctoral internship at Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins in Behavior Management and Child and Family Therapy, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD) Manhattan.
Dr. Grossman uses behavioral and evidence-based treatments to support young children and their families. She is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and is experienced in providing parent training across a range of presenting concerns. She is especially interested in program development, as well as training a supervision in behavioral principles and behavioral treatments.
