Overview

Dr. Martinez is a psychiatrist who specializes in addiction research. She also conducts studies using established treatments for new indications. These studies use therapies with known efficacy and investigate whether they can be used to treat other disorders. Some of her current research includes: 1) investigating ketamine for tinnitus: 2) a clinical trial of cannabinoids for taxane-induced peripheral neuropathy; and 3) investigating transcranial magnetic stimulation for alcohol use disorder and chronic pain.
