    A multidisciplinary professional organization focused on eating disorders. It aims to bring together professionals working in the field.
  • Metro Region Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders (CCCED)
    The Metro NYCCCED serves the largest population of patients with eating disorders in New York State. The New York Presbyterian Hospital, Schneider Children's Hospital, and the New York State Psychiatric Institute have joined forces to offer an unparalleled, comprehensive range of specialized clinical services at every level of care to patients of all ages from across the southern part of the state. The broad range of available services includes inpatient, day-patient and outpatient treatments.
  • National Eating Disorders Association
    NEDA is an organization dedicated to increasing public awareness and understanding of eating disorders as well as promoting access to quality treatment and providing support through education, advocacy and research.
  • National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Related Disorders
    An organization that aims to help people with eating disorders and their families by providing free "hotline" counseling, a network of support groups, referrals, a quarterly newsletter, and information packets.
  • National Eating Disorder Information Centre-Canada
    Information center focusing on eating disorders and health-related behavior of women.
  • The Project Heal
    Project HEAL raises money for those suffering with eating disorders who want to recover but are unable to afford treatment. Scholarship applications are available on their web site, including an annual “Project HEAL – Columbia Eating Disorders Scholarship,” specifically for Project HEAL applicants who are likely to benefit from the program offered at The New York State Psychiatric Institute.
