Overview

Dr.  Salamanca has held various roles in medical education, clinical care and administration. He holds a Ph.D in public health and has conducted research on the epidemiology of substance use disorders in the United States. He has presented his research and lectured on behavioral topics both nationally and internationally. Dr.  Salamanca has also participated in projects in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and the Caribbean to build the capacity of local providers to assess and manage mental health problems. Additionally, he is the Collaborative Care Medical Director for the electronic platform RubiconMD.
