Hillery Bosworth, MD

Hillery Bosworth, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who supervises and teaches psychoanalytic theory and technique to candidates at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. In addition, she has taught psychodynamic concepts and treatment to psychiatry residents at the NYU School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry since 2001.

After majoring in history at Yale University, Dr. Bosworth returned to her hometown of New Orleans to study medicine at Louisiana State University. She served as resident and chief resident in psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine, then as attending physician in inpatient and emergency psychiatry at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Bosworth completed her training in psychoanalysis at the Columbia Psychoanalytic Center in 2007.

At her downtown Manhattan and Park Slope, Brooklyn practice, Dr. Bosworth works with adults across the age spectrum in psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and psychopharmacology, and also offers private supervision to clinicians.
