Overview

Dr. Mishkin is a native New Yorker. She completed Medical School and a Public Health Master's degree in New Orleans at Tulane University, and moved back to New York to continue specialization training in psychiatry (at St. Luke's-Roosevelt) and then in psychosomatic medicine (at Montefiore). She then completed her MBEat the Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics.


She is the psychiatric liaison to the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her interests include psychiatric care of patients with life-threatening illness, cancer, sickle cell disease, infertility and subfertility, medical post-traumatic stress, clinician mental health, surrogate decision-making, public health, access to care and equity.
