A Novel Computer-Based Therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder: A Randomized-Controlled Trial (IRB#8072)
We are currently enrolling individuals local to the NYC metropolitan area with social anxiety disorder to participate in this research study. The purpose of this research study is to assess whether a brief computer-based research treatment helps improve social anxiety symptoms. For eligible participants, this study will involve a brief, novel research treatment for social anxiety, which will be delivered in 8 in-person sessions over the course of 4 weeks. The study will also assess the effect of the research treatment on brain activity using a scan called magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Participants will receive payment for completing study assessments.
