Ani Fredman, PhD (they/them) is an Instructor in Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Gender & Sexuality Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Fredman is passionate about providing care to youth, adolescents, emerging adults, families, and couples. Dr. Fredman’s clinical and research interests center upon questions of identity and development in regards to attachment, gender expression and sexuality, as well as psychosocial factors. Dr. Fredman received their doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The City College of New York (CCNY). Dr. Fredman completed their postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia’s Gender & Sexuality Program.
