Elisabeth Huh, LMSW
Overview
Elisabeth Huh is a licensed social worker at the Columbia Day Program who provides evidence-based individual and group therapy to adults. Her approach to treatment is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Columbia University, where she participated in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Intensive Training Program directed by Dr. Andre Ivanoff, and completed her DBT Intensive Training through Behavioral Tech, LLC. She completed her second year field internship at CUMC’s Accelerated DBT Program where she honed skills in the treatment of high-risk young adults with BPD and chronic suicidality. Elisabeth received her B.A. from the University of Chicago and her BPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford, where she earned distinction on her Master's thesis analyzing conceptual challenges regarding autonomy, identity, and mental illness.
