Overview
Mara Kuvaldina (PhD) is a research psychologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an Associate Director of the Clinical Trials Network for Lyme and Other Tick-borne Diseases. She completed her postdoctoral training at Department of Physics, University of Helsinki and Fulbright Scholarship at the New School for Social Research. Her research focus is on neuromodulation for chronic inflammatory illnesses and infectious diseases (Lyme disease). She combines methods of experimental cognitive psychology, applied physics and psychometry to find potential biomarkers and personalized neuromodulation regimen.
