Treatment Study for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (IRB#7950)
Recruitment has ended for this study. Thank you for your interest.
We are currently enrolling individuals with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) to participate in this study. The purpose of this study is to test whether a single dose of psilocybin may be safe and effective for treating BDD in adults. Eligible participants will come into the clinic for 1 visit in which they will receive psilocybin and be monitored by the study doctor. Participants will then return for follow-up visits over the course of 12 weeks. This study will also evaluate the effect of psilocybin on brain activity using a scan called magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Participants will be compensated for completing the study.
