Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) and Rep. Mike Lawler (NY-17) have introduced the Community Mental Wellness Worker Training Act to increase the availability of mental health services to the underserved.

A study led by Matisyahu Shulman, MD, found that rapid administration of extended-release naltrexone was effective compared with the standard procedure used in the treatment of opioid use disorder.

Dr. Colleen Cullen notes that for victims of sexual harassment, the most common diagnoses are depression, anxiety, and even post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
"People with superstitions often believe in them strongly and may have little interest in investing effort in trying to be dissuaded of their belief," says Dr. Franklin Schneier.
“The results may be different if you narrow it down to medicinal use,” said Dr. Mark Olfson, co-author of a study from the early aughts that asked people about their history of drug use.
