The Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) was primarily developed Dr. Kelly Posner as a tool to screen for suicidality in medication research trials.
“We are thrilled about our new partners and the opportunity to apply our biotechnology platform at the scale needed to identify new drugs for neuropsychiatric disorders,” said Dr. Sean Escola.
“Just being able to go to a place that doesn’t feel like therapy -- that feels like something every kid does during the summer -- that’s so important,” said Dr. Ali Mattu.
“The experts do not get this right every time. Why would we expect colleges to do so?” wrote Dr. Ravi N. Shah regarding the safety of suicidal students.
“Policy has outpaced science,” said Dr. Ziva Cooper. “Cannabis is a plant that is quite diverse. To say that cannabis as a whole is therapeutic is kind of misleading.”
