Anxiety can focus on everyday issues, including health, family, money, or on traumatic memories. Common physical symptoms include restlessness, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, irritability, muscle tension, and sleep disturbance. There are several types of anxiety disorders including: posttraumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder.
